Alyssa Hobson (b. 1990) is a portrait and lifestyle photographer based in Northern California, specializing in capturing heartfelt, timeless moments for families, couples, and individuals. With a background in fine art photography, Alyssa brings a creative and thoughtful approach to every session—blending artistry with authenticity to create images that feel both personal and enduring.
Raised in Northern California, Alyssa has always been drawn to storytelling and timeless imagery. Whether she’s photographing a family in golden-hour light or crafting visuals for a small business, she strives to make people feel comfortable, seen, and beautifully themselves.
Alyssa earned her BFA in Photography from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Since then, she’s worked with clients across California, offering a calm, detail-focused presence and a deep love for documenting real connection.
When she's not behind the camera, you’ll find her with her husband (also her favorite creative partner), their son, and their dog—usually exploring, road-tripping, or hunting for good light
